How to Get Them
- Users who complete one of the following actions will have the .bnb Domain NFT with a fresh and unique Halloween edition background skin:
- Register new names during the Halloween event period
- Extend registered names for at least 1 year in 1 transaction during the Halloween event period - Event Period: 2022 Oct 28th 12 AM — Nov 2nd 12 AM ET
- Every .bnb name only has 1 chance to get the skin through registration or extension. However:
- Extending a newly registered name during the event period doesn’t give a second chance to get a different skin
- After extending the registration period for 1 year in 1 transaction to get the skin, making the extension again does not grant a second chance to get a different skin - Everyone who participates will get the .bnb Domain NFT with either the limited edition pumpkin skin or the even rarer ghost skin (Yup, way RARER)

1. How can I get the Halloween skin?
Join the Halloween event, which is open to everyone.
There are two editions of the Halloween skin — Pumpkin and Ghost. During the event period, all newly registered domains will have one of the Halloween edition skins instead of the default one.
You can also extend your existing .bnb domain for at least 1 year during the event period to get one of the Halloween skins for your .bnb domain.
2. What is the probability of getting each Halloween skin?
As long as you register the domain or extend your existing .bnb domain for at least 1 year during the event period, you will get one of the two Halloween skins for sure.
Both skins are cute! However, getting a ghost skin is way rarer than getting a pumpkin skin.
3. Will the registration period or the extension period affect the probability?
No, the probability is not dependent on the duration of the registration period. The probability remains the same for all the eligible .bnb Domain registration during the Halloween event.
4. What is the minimum extension period for getting the Halloween skin?
One year in 1 transaction.
5. Can I change my Halloween skin back to the default skin?
You cannot switch your Halloween skin to the default one right now, but you will have the option to switch back to the default .bnb Domain skin very soon!
6. Can I re-roll a skin on a domain that already has the Halloween skin?
Sorry, you cannot. Every domain that has one of the two Halloween skins cannot be switched to the other one.
7. Will I get a Halloween skin if I extend my domain one month by one month?
You cannot. The existing domain’s registration period must be extended by at least a year in one single transaction to get the Halloween skin.
8. I got my Halloween skin already, when it will be shown on the secondary NFT marketplace?
After you receive the Halloween skin, it will be shown on the SPACE ID website instantly.
It will take a while for NFT marketplaces to fetch the new metadata (you will also need to refresh your .bnb name’s metadata in the marketplace). But eventually, your domain will be shown along with your new Halloween skin in all NFT marketplaces (time may vary depending on the marketplace).
9. Can I transfer my Halloween skin to another domain I own?
You cannot transfer the Halloween skin for now. But there might be more features like this coming up for the special skins in the near future.
10. Will there be more holiday skins coming up?
