We are thrilled to announce the evolution of SPACE ID Cosmic Council! As the beacon guiding our journey in SPACE ID, the Council is now even better structured to promote continuous and rewarding engagement with our contributors — the Cosmic Astras, Space Novas & Auroras.
The Evolution: A New Structure
As our amazing community continues to expand, we remain committed to fostering robust relationships and effectively mapping out our diverse network of knowledge-sharing contributors. We encourage both current and future Cosmic Astras, Space Novas and Auroras to actively participate, share their insights, and contribute to the growth and development of our community.
The New Guilds Structure
In a bid to optimize the contributor program experience, we’ve introduced the Community Guild, dedicated to improving updates and features based on the invaluable feedback from our community. To cater to the unique needs of different regions and promote localized efforts, the Community Guild will empower contributors to think and act locally with much efficiency. This Guild will also play a crucial role in expanding DAO governance in collaboration with the newly launched SPACE ID DAO.
To better communicate every update and achievement to a broader audience, we have previously established the Marketing Guild, and for continuous learning, we had the Research Guild. In a strategic move, we have now merged the Marketing Guild and Research Guild, renaming them as the Advocate Guild.
The Guild Leader Initiative
With the new structure, the Cosmic Council will now comprise of two guilds, each led by three designated Guild Leaders. Each leader plays a vital role in ensuring a healthy rotation of leadership, guiding contributors, reviewing and evaluating contributions together with the SPACE ID team, and ensuring clear communication within the Guilds and the community.
To become a Guild Leader, a Space Nova or Aurora must apply and be elected by all contributors. The tenure of a Guild Leader is a maximum of six months per year, after which, they make way for other potential leaders.
The Point System & Rewards
In an effort to ensure that our contributors’ efforts are acknowledged and incentivized, we will also be introducing a points system. The new point system will evaluate the time, effort, and contributions made by Cosmic Astras, Space Novas and Auroras in the SPACE ID community. Based on the performance of contributors, there will also be additional exciting rewards!
Selection for Astra/Nova/Aurora
The selection for Cosmic Astra, Space Nova and Aurora will be based on contribution performance and activity within the community. Novas will be selected from active Cosmic Astras, while Auroras will be manually chosen by the SPACE ID team based on long-term performance. Prospective Astras must apply via a form and pass a quiz on SPACE ID to ensure they have a solid understanding of the project, and will be selected based on their previous activity within the SPACE ID community.
